How to Use the Rename Plan

  1. 1. Download the rename plan: Click "Download Rename Plan" to get a text file with all the rename instructions.
  2. 2. Review the plan: Open the downloaded file to see the old → new name mappings.
  3. 3. Manual renaming: Rename each file manually according to the plan, or use command-line tools/scripts for automation.
  4. 4. Copy plan rows for scripts: Use "Copy Plan Rows" to paste newline-delimited old -> new mappings into shell scripts or spreadsheet helpers.
  5. 5. Verify results: Ensure all files have been renamed correctly and no naming conflicts exist.
